Beacon IT was founded on a legacy of innovation, mentorship, and technical excellence. What began in the early 1980s as Richey Systems—a family-run venture led by Randy and Greg Richey, alongside their father Garth—quickly evolved into a pioneering force in the emerging IT landscape. At just 19 and 21, the brothers helped shape what would become the Systems Integrator (SI), Value-Added Reseller (VAR), and Managed Service Provider (MSP) industries—before those terms even existed.
Starting with standalone IBM PCs, Richey Systems educated and empowered small businesses, then scaled to complex systems and early networking solutions. Over two decades, the company trained and launched the careers of more than 100 technology professionals, many of whom became industry leaders.

After selling the company, Randy and Greg continued to lead and grow top-tier MSPs, VARs, and distributors as senior executives. With over 30 years of experience each, they bring deep expertise in:

Randy Richey

Executive Vice President & Co-Founder

Randy Richey leads Beacon IT U.S. as Executive Vice President, bringing over 25 years of experience in professional services, business development, and technology leadership. He has guided organizations through multi-million-dollar IT transformation projects with an emphasis on results-driven strategy and client success.

Randy’s diverse background includes senior executive roles in network services, cloud implementation, and cybersecurity, serving companies from growth-stage enterprises to global corporations. Before co-founding Beacon IT U.S., he was Vice President of Strategy and Sales for ASi Networks and held leadership roles at Zodiac Aerospace Services, STA (now OnX), and Perficient/ZettaWorks.

Known for his ability to translate complex technology concepts into business value, Randy is passionate about helping clients harness innovation to drive measurable performance.
He holds an MBA from Pepperdine University’s Graziadio School of Business and Management and professional certifications including ITIL V3, VMware Sales Professional, and VMware Technical Sales.

Greg Richey

Vice President, Solution Development & Co-Founder

As Vice President of Solution Development, Greg Richey anchors Beacon IT U.S. with over three decades of experience leading professional services, channel enablement, and digital transformation initiatives. His career includes leadership roles at top-tier technology firms where he built and managed service delivery teams, developed go-to-market strategies, and drove revenue growth across national markets.

Before launching BeaconIT U.S., Greg served as Vice President of Solution Development at Telamon, and Director and General Manager for Digital Transformation Services at Ingram Micro. He has also guided operations at firms such as PC Mall Services, ProConnection, MoreDirect, and Avnet.

Greg’s leadership philosophy is rooted in partnership—aligning technology with real business needs. His expertise in solution architecture, channel development, and service innovation enables BeaconIT U.S. to deliver technology strategies that scale with client ambitions.

Greg studied at California State University, Fullerton, and the University of California, Irvine, and holds certifications in Critical Thinking for Better Judgment and Decision-Making and Fighting Gender Bias at Work.

Arthur Bieggar leads Beacon IT U.S. as Vice President, bringing over 27 years of experience in IT consulting, infrastructure engineering, and enterprise technology services. He has directed teams delivering complex network, cloud, and cybersecurity solutions across Healthcare, Aerospace, and other highly regulated industries with a focus on performance, security, and operational excellence.

Arthur began his career in 1995 as a desktop support specialist and advanced through roles in field engineering, technical training, and project management. His expertise spans multi-platform network environments, enterprise system integration, and large-scale infrastructure deployments. Before co-founding Beacon IT U.S., he led major technology initiatives for healthcare organizations and The Boeing Company, providing Cisco network services for the U.S. military’s Future Combat Systems (FCS) program nationwide.

Certified by Microsoft, Cisco, VMware, Citrix, and PMP, Arthur combines deep technical expertise with strategic leadership. He is committed to delivering innovative, scalable IT solutions that help clients strengthen infrastructure, enhance security, and achieve measurable business results.
